  1. Looking at these videos of the future, I was amazed and also shocked by what individuals from 1967- 1993 predicted because of it's accuracy. It may not be the same product we have now, but the concepts and ideas shown in the videos were similar and most likely influenced all the products and technology we have and utilize almost everyday.

  2. These videos are amazing! The future looks great as far as the increase of technology goes. I believe that these new forms of technology will help improve our world by making it easier for us to get ahold of things.

  3. The video that depicted the view of the future from the eyes of society in the 60's and 70's were very accurate, the technology shown are very similar to the technology we use today. The perfect information that they did provide was about the ideas of technology and how we will communicate using the inventions. Furthermore it was impressive that they provided information and ideas that this new way of life will be simplistic and not exaggerated. In addition, the AT&T commercials from the turn of the century are very impressive, the technology shown in this video was very accurate as well. The difference between the videos are that all of the technology in the first video has been invented and has become a norm for society. But certain things that AT&T video showed have not been invented yet, this raises question on how much more technology will affect our everyday lives. These videos were very accurate and gave a good idea on what today's society would be living like. The future videos show technology ad ways of life that left me speechless. Some of the images depicted in these future videos are far ahead of it's time and could change our lives forever. I would enjoy these types of technology and it is very interesting to see people have these types of ideas, I would never imagine anything like this. The 2020's will truly be the future and that way of life, whether it be cooking or doing things on the computer society will change and become faster and more efficient. This is what the future beholds and we should prepare and be ready for this new way of life as they had to 20 to 30 years ago.

  4. From 1967- 1993, individuals predicted the future to be time where new inventions would take over the world and many thought there were crazy but in reality they were because they were true. The world we live in right now is technology based and the majority of the jobs, cars, homes, and other resources we have today are based off technology. During that time, people may not have quite gotten the exact technology correct, but they knew this day was coming.

  5. It is unbelievable to me to see how far technology has advanced in less then a century. In the 1960's, their prediction of technology was very accurate when they were talking about how in the future it will be possible to pay bills online and print out financial documents. I bet at the time people in the 1960's did not believe that such a technological change was needed. Now in the 21st- century, we see the convenience of being able to pay bills online. While watching the video, A Day Made of Glass 2, all of the technology being displayed on the glass objects looked so foreign to me. Some of the technological changes like the mobile blinds looked more convenient, but most of the technological changes in the objects displayed in the video looked like "luxury items". In the near future, I bet most of the glass technology objects displayed in the video will be seen as convenient to the future generations.
