How would we be able to manage the advance in technology we would be experiencing through this ultra sense connectivity. It's a great concept and a would revolutionize how we do a lot of things and even our state of day to day being, but where is the line of privacy? It can make things easier for us collectively and have such an extraordinary impact globally in our proficiency. It's just the ability for technology to stretch this far out in that much detail is scary that it will become a social norm that could fail at any moment leaving people without the knowledge of how to do basic tasks.
Compared to the World of Glass video we watched last class, the video Life Simplified with Connected Devices looked more possible to happen. Looking at how far technology has advanced in the past years, it is likely that we have received a glimpse of the future through the video we watched today. These many technological advances could prove most beneficial to mankind, but at the same time can possibly backfire in our faces. Can you really say all of this new technology will end up doing more good than bad?
The Internet of Things post really changed my view on how we live currently and along with the minds behind the technology and material we have in our homes. Technology has changed how we do things around our homes along with how are days get started. Thing plus internet is equivalent to function and service is the underline breakdown for how the internet was with pre-existing things. But with all of this power, will there be a day that this technology goes sideways and downward?
The future will consist of the Internet of Things. Everything that exists in these current days will translate to the Internet of Things. For example, push to start cars, electric cars, and garage keys will translate into even more futuristic things. This is only the beginning. The garage keys will translate to an automation soon as your car arrives to the garage automatically without pressing a button. Push to start cars will turn into fingerprint ignition. These are just examples. The point being is things will only translate into more technological products. There will be more products with signal translation as mentioned in the powerpoint.
